Design
This iMac is designed in a way that this is called
all in one desktop computer. The latest iMac has improved performance through M1 chip and 24-inch 4.5K display in thus way the latest iMac features a
complete redesign. There are two different models currently available the one
is lower model which is designed with M1 chip and a 4.5K display and it also
has range of color options and its prices is around $1299 and the other model
is higher end model with Intel processor and a 27-inch 5K display and it also
has variety of ports its price is around $1799. Both the products are
approaching their product cycle as they are very much efficient, powerful
efficient custom silicon chips. The M1 iMac will be the better option for the
majority of the users as it has updated recently and it is the good time to buy
it. The Intel based model is not recommended yet because its updated model will
be launched in 2022.
The M1 iMac offers day to day features it has
microphone, high end quality display, camera, speaker system and enough
performance. People who need large display should go for this one as it has
high level of performance and features as well as large amount of RAM, ports
and many more.

M1 iMac
This variant was unveiled in 2021 which was
redesigned by apple and this desktop machine comes in different number of colors.
The Arm based chip was put into it which was replaced to Intel chips so it can
boost the speed and also improve the efficiency of the iMac. This M1 chip is
installed for the very first time in Mac. This M1 has a 8 core CPU having four
high performance cores and four high efficiency cores with the integrated GPU
which has up to 8 cores and this M1 chip was first used in the MacBook’s of
Apple like in MacBook Pro, MacBook air and Mac mini.
Comparison
with previous generation (21.5-inch model)
- This M1 iMac is offering up to 85 faster CPU performances and up to 2 x faster GPU performances which is up to 3x faster machine learning.
- RAM maxes out at 16GB as compared to the previous one but the higher end model which has Intel chips can be configurable up to 128GB RAM.
- The M1 chip enables the new design with thinner design in new iMac. M1 iMac takes less space compared to previous one as it is reduced in size and can be fit into different places.
- This new M1 iMac is sounds less as it is made with thermals of the M1 chip and the new cooling system.
- The new M1 iMac is redesigned with a slim stand that which allows users to adjust the display.
- The new M1 iMac comes with different range of colors such as blue, pink, green, orange, silver, yellow and purple.
- The resolution of the M1 iMac is 4480*2520 24-inches 4.5K display which very much cool, 11.3 million pixels, 500nits brightness, P3 wide color etc.
- It comes with better noise reduction technology, improved exposure and white balance, great dynamic range and the neural engine in the M1 chip.
- The sound system is amazing which includes studio quality microphones and a six speaker sound system with excellent base and which has clear mids and highs with support for Dolby atmos and Spatial audio.
- The M1 iMac keyboard features the first wireless touch ID implementation and uses security component on the keyboard which communicates directly with secure enclave for unlocking and Apple pay purchases which shows Apple is making secure products for their users and they keep maintaining the security for their users.
